Departments : Emergency Management : AED (Automated External Defibrillator)
Several Burleigh County Departments have purchased Automatic External Defibrillators (AEDs) to help prevent unnecessary deaths from sudden cardiac arrest.
Burleigh County Commission Chairman, Jerry Woodcox, supports the efforts to purchase the AEDs stating "Placement of the easy-to-use AEDs in high traffic areas increases the power to save the life of a co-worker, citizen, or anyone with a sudden cardiac arrest."
Automatic External Defibrillators are currently located at the following facilities:
Emergency Management
City/County Building (1st floor)
Commission Meeting Room
Highway Department
Public Health
Social Services
